“Pop Pop”
On Monday, May 9, 2016, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Pre-deceased by brothers Joe and Johnny. Survived by his sister, Vera Summers, loving son Tom (Chantal) , Step-daughter Jessica Lee and grandchildren
Chandler, Jack Henry and Gracie, Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, close friends and neighbors.
“Tom” was in the US Army then served with the Arlington County Police Department for 33 years. He retired to Winchester, VA where he lived out the remainder of his life.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday May 11 from 6-8pm at Murphy Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22203. A service will be held at 1:30pm on Thursday May 12 at The Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 3901 Cathedral Lane, Arlington, VA 22203. Interment will follow at National Memorial Park, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ACPD Friends and Family Fund, 1425 N. Courthouse Road, Arlington, VA 22201.
