

Kathleen Goldrick Lolich, 63, of Arlington, VA., a much loved wife, mother, sister and friend, at her home on August 6, 2013 after a long illness. She is survived by her devoted family: her husband of 36 years, Richard J. Lolich; three children: her son Matthew R. Lolich, and daughters Ellen G. and Claire E. Lolich; and her sister: Margaret H. Goldrick, all of Arlington, VA.; her extended family and many friends. Kathy was born in Taunton, MA., the daughter of the late John J. and Helen (McCabe) Goldrick. After graduating from Emmanuel College, in Boston, in 1972, she began her career in Washington at the National Academy of Science's Transportation Research Board and former Congressional Office of Technology Assessment. She earned a master's degree in Library Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. She worked as a law librarian at the Merit Systems Protection Board, and the law firm Venable LLP in Tysons Corner, VA. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church in Arlington, VA. and a member of the Holy Trinity Church choir in Washington. Visiting hours are on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson, Blvd., Arlington, VA. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Agnes Church 2002 N. Randolph St. Arlington, VA. on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:30am.
