Genovese, Marie D’Elia, 101, of Arlington VA passed away on December 2, 2014. Marie was born September 18, 1913 in Philadelphia, PA .She was preceded in death by her parents Fred P. and Marie Damiani D’Elia. Marie now joins her beloved husband Carroll again after 32 years of separation.
Marie leaves a grand life to remember for her three children, Vincent (Ellen), Catherine Fletcher (Tom), and son Fred, as well as six grandchildren and six great-grand-children, all of whom she adored. Remains rest @ Murphy’s Funeral Home on Wilson Blvd in Arlington VA where family will receive friends on Monday, December 8, 2014, from 6 – 8 pm with funeral mass at St. Ann Catholic Church at 10 am, Tuesday, December 9, 2014, located at 5300 10th St N, Arlington, VA 22205. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery at 2121 Lincoln Road, NE Washington DC.
