

Mark Taylor was born on July 21st, 1972 in London, England to Marvin and Carol Taylor, a United States Marine and an Administrative Secretary respectively. He was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Arlington, VA and then Capital Worship Center in Manassas, VA. Even from an early age, he not only attended church, but was an avid supporter and a great help at church events. He graduated from Washington-Lee High School in Arlington, VA, Laney Community College in Oakland California, and the Columbia School of Broadcasting, in Vienna, VA.
Mark was blessed with a loving family. He married Ms. Antoinette Bridges on November 15th, 2001. He has one step-daughter, Joy Gibbs-Kimble and one adopted son, Joshua Taylor. He and Antoinette were also foster parents. They provided a warm and caring home for many children.
Mark was very busy in Radio and Television. He worked at WJLA Channel 7 in Arlington VA, WPGC Radio in Greenbelt MD, Lockwood Broadcasting in Richmond VA, and News Channel 46 in Las Vegas NV. He was a very social and outgoing person. He always wore a smile. He loved meeting new people. He was also a very hard worker and didn’t mind working extra hours to get the job done.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Antoinette on Palm Sunday 2014. He is survived by his parents Marvin and Carol Taylor, his sister Tracy Taylor, his stepdaughter Joy, and his adopted son Joshua.
A Funeral Service will be held for Mark Taylor at Murphy’s Funeral Home, 4510 Wilson Blvd, Arlington, Va. 22203. The Family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until service time.
