Mary Marjorie LeRoy

Mary Marjorie LeRoy (Marge) passed on May 27, 2024, peacefully in her sleep. She joins her spouse of 55 years and the love of her life Robert Louis LeRoy (Bob) who passed July 2006. She also joins her siblings Harriet (Velayo), Betty (Sewell), Bernice (Hoover) and Robert who predeceased her.

Marge was born September 29, 1925, in Manila, PI. At the end of WWII, she came to the US with her parents (Leon M Lazaga and Mary E Keene), and siblings (Leon, Robert, Gregory, Harriet, Bernice, Lea (Nichols) and Betty).

She attended University of California in Berkeley. She met Bob at a church picnic and they were married on July 27, 1948. They had 3 sons, Douglas (Anna Belousovitch), David (Marcy) and Stephen (Jennifer). They moved to Maryland in 1962 and to Leisure World in Silver Spring in 1982 where they enjoyed entertaining their many friends and family.

Marge had 5 grandchildren, Brittany Breidenbach, Johnathan Moore, Caitlyn Myers, Chloe LeRoy and Kevin Ehrlich-Lewis. She also had 3 great grandchildren, Konrad and Adalina Breidenbach and Nora Myers, and many nieces and nephews.

Information on celebrations of life will be forthcoming for friends and family in the DC area, and in California.
