

Phillip served honorably in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years and fought bravely for his country during the Vietnam War. He had a love for the great outdoors, frequently taking vacations to Utah where he hunted, fished, and visited with family.
At his time of death, Phillip was employed by U.S. Postal Service at the Main Station in Arlington, where he was highly respected by co-workers and friends. He served as a mail carrier during most of his 40+ year career.
Phillip is survived by wife Qudsia Sulaimani Miller; four daughters Natasha Miller, Tanya Miller (fiance Igor Zumrov), Leila (husband Fritz) Behrens, Lailuma Miller (fiance James Aliff); and six siblings Nell, Linda, Steve, Sheila, Vince, and Christina. Phillip was preceded in death by parents Nellie and Phillip Miller.
Friends may call at the Murphy Funeral Home of Arlington, 4510 Wilson Blvd on Friday, August 31 from 2-4 and 6-8pm.
Funeral services to be held at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Chapel, 1600 Inglewood St, Arlington, VA. 22205, on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:30am
Burial will be held in Sterling, Utah.
