Judy, I heard today that Rich has gone on to a better life. He was the Mayor of Bluemont; always walking his dog and putting a smile on someone's face. When I came back from the Gulf War, he had me on his TV show. He told me it was a hit. I probably still have the video. He will be missed and glad I got to know him. Chip

Judy, I am blessed to have met you and Rich on my life's journey. He was kind, friendly, and so funny. He always brought a smile to everyone's face. (Oh, I can't forget and "handsome" too.) He was at my swearing in at the Potomac Grange No. 1 ceremony. My friends forever. Rich is gone too soon but never forgotten!

My Dear Friend,
I miss you! I will miss our weekly conversations, your advice on life, sometimes profound and sometimes hilarious. You made me laugh, you made my day! You were truly a unique individual. A legend in your own time.

You had a very special way of reminiscing that I will always appreciate and respect. I will miss your kind nature and thoughtfulness.
I thank your precious wife, Judy for the opportunity to occasionally accompany you and enjoy a play or musical. Thank you both for the memories.

My condolences to your beloved wife, Judy and your families. I will miss you always.

Your friend,

Hi Judy,
I was so sorry to learn that Rich has passed away. He and I worked together many years ago and I remember him very fondly. He was a real people person, conversationalist, great listener and had a wonderful sense of humor. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

I have such wonderful memories of Rich- ruminating on all things- no topic off limits. His quick wit and self effacing humor are qualities that I remember with great fondness.
Rich and Judy were the Mayor and "Mayoress" of N 4th Rd. And they could not leave their home across the street without our Biscuit and Bounce pawing at the front door with wild excitement.

Judy, you and Rich were not only our neighbors but also our good friends. Our hearts go out to you Judy. We so wish we could be with you at this difficult time.

Much love,
Sarah, Helen and the "babies"
