Robert Charles Dalke

Born in Minneapolis, MN, Robert enlisted in the Army in 1963 and spent the next 23 years advancing from private to master sergeant and from 2d Lieutenant to Major.

After retiring from active duty in 1986, he would spend the next 17 years as a DoD civilian. While stationed in the Washington DC area, he met Ann M. Peele in 1989. They married in 2001 and their wonderful union would last 22 years in which they would enjoy their homes in Northern Vermont, Ocean City, MD and Arlington, VA.

Robert, lived life and loved people. He was a loving husband, soul mate and best friend. As he enters the afterlife, may the wind be always at his back, the rain and snow softly on his brow, the sun on his face and may God hold him firmly in his hands forever.
