I played music with Rowland many times. I will miss him and remember he didn't like tango music. He played viola with AUMC church orchestra and with my quartet. I know he loved music, choral singing and traveling. May he rest in peace with the Lord.

I just found out about Rowland's passing.I will inform others. Rowland hired me at the IRS directly out of college. I was a kid who had no idea about what it meant to be an actuary.  I have gone on to have a very successful career. Much of my success can be attributable to Rowland.  I am so happy that I had dinner with him a few months ago. It was the first time that I had seen him in many years.

My mother Elizabeth Flanagan Karr , was a high school friend of Rowland's. She always spoke highly of him, our sincerest condolences and may he rest in peace.
