I worked with Sara for 8 years, and appreciated her enthusiasm, curiosity, and companionship. I enjoyed our conversations on a wide range of topics from books (Steampunk vs. Vampires) to animals (dogs vs. birds) to food (Sara was not what I would call an "adventurous" eater). I took Sara out for lunch to celebrate her move to Germany, and I will always remember eating together outside (because of COVID-19) and toasting her upcoming adventures with a glass of bubbly (shhh...during work hours). 

I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to get to know Sara both personally and professionally. She was one of the kindest individuals I have ever met and I will always remember our weekly chats and the fun stories and photos she would share of her two dogs!  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. May she rest in peace.
