Stanley Steele was born in Coaldale, PA. He was raised by his aunt, Alice Smith, with whom he moved to the Washington area at a young age. He served two years in the Navy, and went on to a long career in the HVAC engineering field. He retired from PRC after serving as their supervisory building engineer for over 10 years. His marriage to Regina Bridge of Arlington ended in divorce.
Stanley was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by two children: James Steele of Herndon and Brenda O'Busek of Fairfax Station and one grandson Daniel Owens of Newport News. In lieu of flowers, request donations be made to Boys Town @ http://www.boystown.org/
