Met Susan when I began working at her gym in 2008.  What a delight to know.  We loved her at Curves and will miss her.

Susan was my "movie buddie" when I lived in Virginia.  We used to get together almost every weekend and had a great time critiquing the films.  She was a lot of fun to be with and we enjoyed each other's company.
She will be missed.

Sue has been a dear friend for many years.  Her gracious family allowed me to live with them for 4 months in my senior year of high school.  What fun times and laughs we shared.  She and I have also been to New York City twice together! We have shared so much!  Her wonderful laugh, beautiful smile and kind heart will be missed.  I love you and will miss you, dear heart.

Susan was a valued colleague and I knew her to be a delightful person.  I am lucky to have known her.   Praying for peace and comfort to her family and friends.

I first met Susan at her office in DC after my job interview there in 1981.  Her Dad had been my family doctor.  After I was hired, my office was down the hall from hers.  So, I frequently stopped by to chat and exchange information about family and Iowa.  I am so glad I was able to talk to her at our office party the day before she passed.  She was enjoying the party and looking forward to more parties the next week.  I will miss her.

I met Susan in third grade at Pleasant View and all the way through our NYC trip this last May, she was a dear, kind and thoughtful friend.  We had such fun in NYC, with our other great buddy, Sandy.  We were discussing another trip ASAP.  Her emails, texts, messages will be saved and missed.  So many of us here in her hometown will grieve for a long time mentor and friend.  Bless you, Sue.

I met Susan when I moved into the Cardinal House Condominium and soon learned that we both worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs.  I have enjoyed her friendship for many years.  I will miss her and extend heartfelt sympathy to her family.  Janie Diehl, Arlington, VA

All of us at Curves will miss Susan.  Every Monday we would wait for her movie review.  I will miss her dry wit and her keen observations.  My heart felt sympathy to her family and friends.  I am so thankful that I knew her.

Our family was blessed to have had Susan and her family as neighbors for many years.  I wish peace for her and comfort for her brother and his family.

Our families were very close in both proximity and friendship.  We are pretty much still in shock and not believing it's true.  Many memories have come flooding back which include the entire Ptacek family from my adolescence to adulthood.  All very special people and my family is honored to have known them and called them friends. Our heart felt condolences to John, Linda, Judy and all the nieces and nephews. I remember so many funny things we used to do in high school. She was so smart and such a good friend and I'm sorry I hadn't seen her for too many years. She will be missed by more people than we can imagine.

I work at Curves and loved Susan.  She was so delightful to talk with -- especially about movies.  OH HOW I WILL MISS SUSAN.  May her family know what a treasured friend she was to me.  I just can't believe she is gone.  She was admired by many.  Heaven is a better place having Susan there.
