Cherilyn Crystal Williams

Arlington, Washington – Cherilyn was born to Lonnie and Maria Wallace on November 30, 1982 and lost her 10-month battle to brain cancer at her residence on July 25, 2021 surrounded by family and friends.

She’s survived by her loving husband Christopher, daughter Destinee, son Jayden, father Lonnie, step-mother Jeanette, her 4 sisters, and her mother-in-law Rhonda. She’s preceded in death by her mother Maria Wallace, great-nephew Carson Crowder-Williams, uncle Paul Williams, grandpa Jean Wallace, father-in-law James Williams, and many more extended family members.

Cherilyn worked passionately as a CNA at Virginia Mason Hospital for 8 years after raising her two beautiful children as a stay-at-home mother. Cherilyn was a dedicated volunteer umpire for Stilly Valley Little League for 7+ years. She enjoyed the ocean, traveling, gardening, spending time with her family, cuddling with her pets and listening to her favorite band, the Backstreet Boys. Cherilyn drew on her strong faith, her loving family, and her courage through her most challenging moments battling cancer. She touched many lives in many ways, but her influence has been felt most profoundly by her husband and kids who know how big an impact she had on their lives.

A memorial service will be held at Weller’s Funeral Home, 327 North Macleod Ave, Arlington WA 98223 on Monday August 16, 2021 at 10:00am. The family asks that everyone wears blue because that was Cherilyn’s favorite color. August 16 is also Cherilyn and her husband’s 20th wedding anniversary.
