Buck was called up to his happy hunting grounds suddenly on March 13, 2021. Born in Arlington on September 26th, 1952, the oldest child of Dave and Inajean Buchanan, he grew up in Darrington and graduated from Darrington High School. Buck also attended Everett Community College, majoring in partying. His logging career began early in life working for Buchanan and Forrister Logging. This led him to start DG Buchanan Construction Limited, and many other professional adventures. An experienced fishing guide, avid hunter and all-around outdoorsman, Buck was an enthusiastic collector with a passion for auctions and garage sales. Buck was preceeded in death by his father Dave Buchanan and his beloved dog Buddy. He leaves his mother, Inajean Buchanan, brother Roger Buchanan (wife Laura), sister Sally Schlosser (husband Troy), longtime companion and love of his life Debbi Gatti, niece and a nephews Luke, Amy, Issac Buchanan and Jacob Schlosser, cousins Aunt Audrey King, cousins Betty Merken and Aaron Merken and cousin- in law Stefan Merken as well as numerous friends who held a special place in his heart. Graveside service: Darrington Cemetery, Friday, March 26th, at 12pm. Gathering at Darrington Community Center following service.
