Wherever Doug went, he struck up friendships with people, many of those went on to became lifelong friendships.
In the ‘90’s Doug was finally able to realize his dream of a small farm when he moved to Arlington, WA and where he worked for many years at the Co-op giving him the chance to help others realize their own farm needs.
Doug found in his final years his happiness was when he was able to spend time with his 3 children and their families Doug & Cindy Nevins , Gary & Debbie Nevins, & Linda Rose Nevins plus his 8 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and his long-time companion Lynn Koenig.
Services will be held May 5, 2017 at 12:00pm, at Weller Funeral Home, 327 North MacLeod Ave, Arlington, WA 98223
