

H. Lorraine Everson (Armstrong), age 92, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022. Lorraine was born September 27, 1929, in Sidney, Montana to Harold and Alma H. (West) Armstrong. She was the oldest of 12 children.
Lorraine graduated from high school in Missoula, Montana in 1947. After high school, Lorraine attended Northwest Bible Institute now Northwest University located in Kirkland, Washington. There she met Donald Everson and they were married on August 17, 1949 and enjoyed nearly 67 years of marriage until Don’s passing 2016.
Lorraine and Don lived in several places including locations in Alaska, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, and South Dakota before returning to Washington to eventually settled in the Warm Beach area.
Lorraine had a passion for teaching children and had a heart for those who had learning challenges. While in Iowa, she got her teaching degree from Drake University and began teaching in 1970 and continued her career until the mid-1980s. Afterwards, she continued to tutor children for many years.
She has three children: Diane who preceded her in death, Steve (Kathe) Everson, and Brian (Kathy) Everson; grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew) Sick, Daniel (Maria) Everson, Benjamin (Anna Beth) Everson, David Everson, Megan Everson, and Erin Everson.
She was an active member of LIFEchurch360 in Warm Beach. She also enjoyed observing nature, gardening, rock collecting, photography and card making. She was a loving, caring person, always extending love to others, making friends wherever she went.
Lorraine’s celebration of life this Saturday, April 30th at 1:00 p.m. at LIFEchurch360 in Warm Beach.
