Aaron Thomas Ehlen, age 24, of Hillsboro, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Aaron was born January 16, 1998 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his brother, Shaun T., his grandfather, Gene McReynolds and a special aunt, Regina Surface.
Aaron is survived by his loving parents, Thomas and Leanna (Hallows) and his beloved sister, Breanna (Ben) Scott, and his niece, Evelynn. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Bob (Jan) Ehlen and Norma McReynolds. He will be missed by his aunts, uncles, cousin and many friends.
Aaron’s parents raised their son to have a strong faith in God, be confident in who he was and to live each day to the fullest. He was a kind young man with a contagious smile and personality. He loved his family and friends and was never afraid to make new one with a total stranger. He spent time volunteering at the local library in High Ridge. Many came to visit the library just to see Aaron. He brought so much joy to his family, they did everything together, and he especially liked going out to eat at his favorite restaurant, Savannah’s in Cedar Hill, Missouri. Some of his hobbies including sharing a quick dance with his mom, watching and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, playing on his PlayStation and everything STAR WARS.
Aaron also admired those men and women who have served in the Armed Services.
A visitation for Aaron will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010. Following the visitation will be a Graveside Service at 12:30 PM at Shepherd Hills Cemetery, 1925 Old State Road M, Barnhart, MO 63012.
