Arthur B. Carter Jr.

Arthur B. Carter Jr. of St. Louis County, MO passed on Wednesday May 6, 2026. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on September 19, 1939 to the late Arthur B and Mary (nee Ray) Carter Sr.; beloved husband of Suzanne Carter (nee Triplett); loving father of Christina (Michael) Harrell and Cynthia (LaMar) Rahden; loving grandfather of Makayla Carter, Taylor and Brooke Rahden, Isabella Schnable, Alyssa (Drew) Brown, Jake (Nichole) Harrell and Emily Harrell; great grandfather of Elliott, Easton and Noah Harrell and Liam Brown; dear brother of the late Thelma (Fred) Supulver, Ray Carter, Emma Carter, and Judy (Russ still survives) Reynolds; dear uncle and friend to many.

Arthur served in US Marines and the US Army Security Agency and was a member of the Marine Corps League, Arnold, MO.

Art was a dedicated family man and husband. He credited the Marine Corps for their guidance in helping him overcome a difficult childhood. His loving support of his daughters lead to their establishment of their dance studio, which is now 35 years old. Art put his heart and love into everything he did. Art finished his working years as a piping designer in the chemical and petroleum industries. This kind and gentle man will be missed by his family and all who knew him. Rest in peace dear man.

Private burial will held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full Military Honors. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
