Thinking more of you today.    Your face justs pops up in my mind and I start to cry because I miss you so much.. The entire family misses you . You have a baby niece now who looks just like her mom. You would be in love with her.  

In just 3 days you would have been 33...I can't help but think of you everyday with an aching in my heart for all the things you are missing...and all the love for you we have to send to heaven instead of share with you here on earth...I miss that big grin you always had for me...and so wish things could be different.

RIP Chris, I know i only met u once but i wanted to say that u made an impact in my life. i wish i would of been able to get to know u better.

Chris,

It seems like just yesterday we were having some beers at the union hall and you were talking about the new house and how excited you were about everything that was going on in your life.  Now you're gone and this still seems so surreal to me.  We miss you like crazy Zig, but I know you're in a better place now, and I know you'll be watching over all of us.  I just want you to know that I've always looked up to you Chris.  You have always been a brother to me, someone who has inspired me, who has pushed me to be a better person and a better firefighter.  Heaven has another angel now, and so do all of your friends and family.  I know you'll be watching over us from your resting place every time we go out on a call now, waiting for us to come home safely.  Rest in peace Chris, until we meet again.

Words can't even begin to express the pain and heartache that we your family are feeling right now.  You are a great cousin and we have had plenty of late nights on the landing that I will never forget!  We are all going to miss you so much and will always remember the great person that you are! Chris, You just don't know how many friends you had in high school. I will miss you alot. You have been there some days for me in high school when I needed a friend the most. My prayers go out to your family, coworkers, & friends. We all miss u greatly Chris.

Chris, It's been a long time since we last saw each other but I will never forget all the great times we had as kids growing up (You know playing basketball and just hanging out). You were my best friend all through school and I will always remember you. R.I.P my friend.

Chris, from the time I first met you when you started working at Jeffco, you were a great guy to work with.  The 12 hours locked behind "the wall" were so much easier when I was working with you.  Your sense of pride, tradition and humor all mixed to make you a great person.  The last time I saw you was 2 weeks ago tonight, we talked over a beer at the union meeting, you beamed when you talked about how much you loved working at Creve Coeur.  I was so happy for you,  you had achieved all of the dreams you had that we talked about all those years ago when we were dispatching at jeffco.  You will be missed brother!!!

Not too often do you run accross someone who would give anyone in need the shirt off their back.  You're admired by many and have left a positive impression on many of us that will not be forgotten. Chris, I'm not sure where to start.  You were good for our daughter,Melissa and we knew that she loved you more than life itself.  We knew you were trying to do the best you could.  We were always proud of your accomplishments as a firefighter.  You were a great friend to my grandson, Eric, who is missing you more than anyone right now. Chris, I first met you in Medic class back in 2007. I am so glad that I was able to become friends with you and after class we were able to work together. It was such a blessing. You were a wonderful paramedic and I am sure you were just as good of a firefighter. Gary had mentioned the other day that he had to grade based on spelling cause if not, you would have had a 100% on everything! RIP Chris!!

Chris, even though you were a grown man, I will always think of you as my "little" nephew.  I hold so many fond memories of you when you were little and am amazed of the man you've grown into.  You will always be in my heart and I will think of you everyday.  You have so many family and friends that love you and that shows what a wonderful person you are.  Rest in peace for I know that you are with Grandma and Grandpa Ziegelmeyer looking down on everyone else.  Love you forever and always, Aunt Tammy.

To an amazing guy with a heart of gold, you have touched so many peoples lives. You were a great friend and always fun to be around. You will be remembered, loved, and sadly missed by everyone you came in contact with.

Chris, you were a great guy.  From your days as an explorer at Antonia, you started excelling as a firefighter and grew to one of the finest firefighters!  
I always ask others what kind of void will be made when you leave this world, what kind of influence do you have on others?  Chris, the void now with you gone is un-fillable and the influence you have had on others is tremendous and indescribable.  You truly will be missed!

Chris, I never had the opportunity to meet you.  But I can see, by the outpouring in the community and on FB, how loved and cherished you are.  Your memory will continue to live on in so many people.  Rest In Peace.

Chris will be missed very much. From the day he was born, he has held a special place in our hearts. Chris, Jason, Mike and Brad were always having fun.(What a foursome!) Since they were babies, they were always together. Chris you were like another son to us and hope you know how much we love you. We have always been proud of your accomplishments of your firefighing career. It is hard to express in words to Lee, Debbie, Jason and Nikki how much they mean to us and how deeply we regret their loss. Their pain is being shared by many of Chris' friends and family members because he was such an important part of so many lives. Chris you will be in our hearts forever. We have loved you since the day you were born. You and Jason shared so much time together with Mike and Brad....always the four of you. You were all like brothers and like a son to us. We will always hold those memories near and dear to us. It's hard to put into words the sadness we feel for Lee, Debbie, Nikki and Jason. You have been one hell of a role model for me and have taught me so much in such a little about of time. I hope my career will be as fullfiling and as high quality as yours.  You have shown me what a friend you have been to me and taking me under your wing without even knowing me. I'm going to miss you buddy and I'm sure will can run some more calls together some day.
