Born August 10, 1928 in Granite City, Il., he was a retired electrical engineer for Union Electric. He enjoyed traveling, lifting weights, playing cards and beating his children and grandchildren at chess and ping pong.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Haus (nee Bieller), daughter Penny Gallagher of West Chester, Ohio, son Mark (Susan) Haus of Arnold, Mo., son Randy Haus of Minneapolis, MN. and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jack was proceeded in death by his son Brett.
A private family viewing was held on Sunday, November 29, 2015. A celebration of his life is planned for the spring of 2016.
