Janet G. Thompson (nee Gummels), 64, of Pevely, Mo. entered into eternal peace on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. Janet was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Evelyn Gummels; her brother Richard Gummels; her son Matthew Thompson; and her grandchildren Cole Beutenmiller and Elizabeth Thompson. Janet was the beloved mother of Ron (Emily Lopez and family) Thompson, Jennifer (Thomas) Beutenmiller and Amy (Eric) Huth; loving grandmother to Cecile and Cody Thompson, Elizabella Cho, Joshua and Ethan Huth and Jacob and Tanner Beutenmiller; dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Visitation Saturday, April 20, 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, April 21, 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, Mo. Funeral service Sunday, April 21, 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Otto, Mo. Interment St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. There will be a procession from the funeral home to the church leaving at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater St. Louis or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Youth Group will be heartfelt.
