John I will always remember the talks at the fence, and how you always had Milk Bones for our dogs even though you had cats.  And how the dogs would line up by the fence and stare at your house as if they were willing you to come out with those treats. So glad you got to come see our new place and that Shelby finally let you pet her! 🐕. And all the fireworks on the 4th...no need to go to a public show!  Rest In Peace good friend. ❤️ You are missed.

What I remember most about my Uncle John was his laugh. He was always cracking a joke, and he could’ve easily been a stand up comedian. 
I remember him smoking his pipe and blowing smoke rings. He had the loudest whistle of any human I know. He had a great love for animals - dogs, cats, birds - and I remember his dog Circles as being one of the best trained dogs. He was always kind to everyone, especially children. He had a silly side - on Grandma’s 80th birthday, he and I took the party balloons and inhaled helium to make funny voices. He loved fireworks and nearly blew up the cul de sac streetlight one New Year’s Eve.
Uncle John, we will miss you. The holidays won’t be the same without you.

To my darling husband and best friend.  We meet on Feb. 4th 1978 as a blind date.  I was 19 and you  was 26 I fell in love with you very fast because of you humor, your jokes, and your love of music ( only rock and roll). We were married 18 months from the date that we met. We just celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary and I thank god for that.  Thru these years we have had  our ups and downs ( mostly up).  You could always make me laugh and smile.  I am proud that you loved me so much and  that you gave a great life and  a great, great  daughter that I love so much.  I know you loved her very, very much, she is your  "Daddy's sweet girl".   We have great friends and family that will make sure I am taken care of since you are not here to take of care of me.  Please take care of mom and uncle Bob till it is time for me to join you.   Love you with all of my heart, "sweetheart".  

Daddy you are my world. The first and most important man in my life. You’ve taught me so many things. I remember sitting next to your chair in the living room playing board games. Singing Bicycle by Queen in the bathtub when you would give me a bath. All the fireworks at 4th of July. Trips around the block at our old house on your motorcycle. You playing my favorite song “Amy” on the guitar for me. Listening to “On Top of Spaghetti” on record. The bedtime stories you read to me every single night. Me “reading” Cinderella to you after hearing it so much that I had memorized it. Your horrible dad jokes that were impossible not to laugh at. The jar of M&Ms always by your chair. Sitting on your lap while you tickied me to sleep. Daddy, I miss you more than words can express. I love you with all of my heart and then some. 

John you are with God now and your family in heaven. We love you and you will always be in our hearts. You knew  lot of good and silly jokes. You loved rock roll . We will be there for Sandy when she needs us

Fly high John, enjoy a big ole steak up in heaven. You earned it buddy. We will think of you when we listen to good old rock n roll and when someone tells a joke. You will be missed in this group of misfits.  Love you & Sandy.  Sandy we are here for you.  Annette
