Linda Sue Wright

Linda Sue Wright, age 72, of Imperial, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Born January 17, 1951 in Salem, Illinois to the late Lawrence and Irene Metcalf (nee Sands); Beloved wife and partner of 53 years to Terry A. Wright; loving mother to David Wright of Imperial, MO, Angie (Scott) Harris of Staunton, IL, Larry (Jessica) Wright of Phoenix, AZ and Tina Wright of St. Louis, MO; grandmother of Brittney Wright, Connor and Tyler Wright and Julian Williams.

Linda loved horses, butterflies and Tom Cruise…during her month and a half stint at the hospital we spent some of the earlier weeks watching Top Gun and Survivor among other shows with a projector as a family on the wall in her room together. Her favorite hobby was spending as much time as she could with her family. Family meant the most to her, family dinners, family get-togethers…family. Linda would always keep in touch, whether by texting or calls if for no other reason to let her kids know what was going on with each other when there were updates. She was not known to be able to keep any family secrets amongst family. She had such an outgoing personality that she would tell complete strangers everything about her life and family. She loved going to the casino and watching her “shows” otherwise.

In August after working over 30 years at Walmart ended her tenure with them.

She spent the last 2 months of her life in the hospital at Mercy South where we all finally said final goodbyes at her bedside…together as a family.

A visitation for Linda will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010.
