Today March 14 2012 i found out you passed away from a benefit poster i'd seen at HOPE Thrift Store, it really crushed me to see you leave so early.  Though i barely knew you, you were so kind to invite me in your home to print out some banners for my two cars. You were a nice funny talented smart guy. You will be deeply missed! R.I.P RAY...

I love you and miss you so much. You were an amazing husband, and wonderful father. I'm really hoping and praying that I can do a decent job raising them without you... I thank God for your mom, sisters, brothers, nephews, neices, and friends... They've been helping a lot... I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing you again one day. I love you.

It is so very hard when someone you love so much goes on to be with God and we are left here in this nasty messed up world. I thank God for the gift of his Son so that we can all be saved and I know I will be with Ray again in Heaven. If you are not saved, please turn to God and ask for forgiveness and believe that he sent his son so that you can also have eternal life. (John 3:16) in the Bible. 
I LOVE YOU RAY and can't wait to join you, Dad, JR,Larry, our brothers and so many other loved ones who have gone to live with the Lord before us. It is really going to be hard because we miss you so very much but I know you are in a much better place. 
We will make sure that Michelle and our nieces and nephews are always taken care of and know how much we love them as well. I can't wait to be in Heaven with you, I love you Ray!!!

every class we had together at Fox you always made me laugh and put me and others at ease. if God has a "welcoming committee" you are on it...all these posts prove one thing...Only the Good Die Young and you are one of the best :)

Raymond, you living in Missouri, and us living in Arizona, made it hard to spend too much time together.  However; the time you visited us in Arizona was unforgettable.  You brought much laughter, love and warmth.

You became part of our family.  You always ate avacados and drank milk shakes ..... EVERYDAY.  Can you imagine what it did to your Uncle Ron and my weight?  Yes, bet we gained a good 10 to 15 lbs.   Would not surprise me if you and Uncle Ron are enjoying a shake together right now.  

You, Raymond, will remain in our hearts forever.

Ray, 
I hadn't seen you since shortly after high school. You were one of the first people I made friends with at Fox, and definitely one of the good guys. Always off-beat, funny, friendly, and one of the most talented people I've known. Something tells me that none of that has changed in these years since.  
We had a lot of fun back then. What stands out to me right now is you striding into class or down the hall, your block print trench coat (What I liked to call your "patchwork quilt trench") trailing behind you, with a determined, "international man of mystery" air about you; and then, always a smile to greet someone. Cultured may not be the correct word, but for Fox, you were probably about as close as it came. I always admired you because you never gave a damn who people were, or how popular they were. You were always yourself regardless. 

I regret that I never made it out to meet you for that drink a few years back. Sometimes life gets in the way of life and it's easy for friends to lose touch. All the good intentions in the world no longer matter when you wake up one day and find out that friend is gone. 
The last time we talked over email, we agreed to meet up sometime and I told you I'd buy you a drink. You said that you'd take a Jack and Coke. Well, I bought a pint of Jack today (which I haven't drank in years), and I'm going to make you that drink I didn't get the chance to buy you, and make one for myself to toast to your life and say goodbye. You'll be missed by many Ray. 

My heart and thoughts go out to Michelle and the kids, who I never had the pleasure of meeting. I know there are no words that can make things better, but I am so sorry about Ray.

Ray,Ionly had the pleasure to meet you once. My daughter & son in-law was soo excited when your family became their neighbors, yor family became my g-son TJ's family too. You surely will be missed. I remember as a little guy you were always smiling and your brilliant blue eyes sparkled. It was not until we all got older that I realized what that twinkle was, it was your inherited mischief  :  )      Hummm, I wonder where you got thatâ€¦lets see, could it be Uncle Larry, Aunt Teddi, Kenny, Garry, Laura, Deanna? I think, yes, to all!  Laughter is food for the soul and I have chosen this to remember most about you Rayâ€¦you were food for many souls and I hope you know that!

You're home with the Lord now and He has another purpose for you, just as He did hereâ€¦Guardian Angel would be my guess!  I, and many of our family members, have been taken out of harms way too many times to be coincidencesâ€¦so cousin, enjoy the majesty of your next assignment! And, we will see you again.

Ray you had it rough from day one. You lost your Dad early in life and overcame so many obsticles. I never really gave you credit for many of the things you accomplished. Partly because I pushed you and you never complained. Partly because you weren't one to brag on yourself. You didn't ask for praise. You hated conflict. You had so many good qualities. Not the least of which were how great a husband and Dad you were to Michelle and your kids. How great a brother you were to me. But most importantly, you had faith in God. Because of that fact, I know I'll get to see you again. I so look forward to that great reunion! Until then, know this: Your family is MY family and ALWAYS will be. I love you my brother!!!!

My older brother was good friends with Ray. I did not know him well, but I'm saddened. May God watch over his family, give them strength and comfort. May you rest in peace, Ray!

Since you went to be with the LORD, I've been thinking of you constantly. You had it rough with Dad passing away when you were so young. You overcame so much in your short life and left me realizing that I never really gave you credit for the things you accomplished in spite of those hardships. You were a great husband to Michelle and a loving father to your children. It was obvious that they were everything to you. You also loved the LORD. Because of that, I know I'll see you again. I cherish our time together and look forward to that great reunion. In the mean time, know that your family is MY family, and always will be. Love you and miss you so much Ray.

There are no words that are able to express the depth of loss.. 
This is my third time trying to hold it together enough to express my sympathies and thoughts and prayers for the family and this is done so with tears still welling up in my eyes. 
We may not understand the ultimate plan but Ray you must have been needed elsewhere more. 
May the family receive great comfort and healing and many blessings for future endeavors.

Ray was someone who made such impression in High School, that even nearly 20 years later memories of him are some of the better ones anyone could ask for. My deepest sympathies to his family. Even though I did not know Ray and his family, I feel like I did. Teddi and my mother were friends in Phoenix, and after Mom's passing, we kept in touch. She is so proud of her family, and it is an honor to know her. Ray rests with his father now, and even though he is not with his family in body, he will always be with them in their hearts and minds.
