Ronald J. Hellmer

Ronald J. Hellmer of Imperial, MO. passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2020. He was born on December 8, 1940 in St. Louis, MO to the late Sylvester and Mayme (nee Mueth) Hellmer; Beloved husband of Sally J. (nee Tavenner) Hellmer; loving father of the late Tracey R. Hellmer; survived by a son Daniel J. (Robin) Hellmer and a daughter Melissa Kay (Andrew) McDonald; loving grandfather of Bridget Schade, Zachary Hellmer, Ashley (Travis) Carter, Caitlin McDonald and Reilly McDonald; great grandfather of Emersyn Carter; brother of the late Naomi Lami and Elaine Ritchie; dear uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Ronald loved to watch his son work on Race Cars and then watch the races. He also loved to watch his grandkids play softball and basketball and play Texas Holdem.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., Arnold, MO 63010. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private. Memorial donations in Ron's Honor may be made American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
