She was born March 20, 1941, the daughter of the late J. Winfield and Mary (Hammond) Burns.
Judith graduated from Ashland High School, class of 1959. She graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene College with an Associate of Applied Science degree. Jude married the love of her life, Randall Lybarger, on May 2, 1981. He preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Gaynor Yoxtheimer, Gretchen Aten, and Sharon Bates; her brothers, Stanley and Gary Burns. Jude is survived by her sister Pamela (William) Jackson and brother, Douglas Burns of Ashland; sister, Ellie Wells of Devon, PA; many nieces and nephews; granddaughters, Bethany and Brianna; grandson, Ben; and her niece and caretaker for many years, Tracie Eighinger.
She resided at Brookwood Place of Brethren Care for many years and made some special friends who took very good care of her.
Jude has requested no memorial service.
