Amanda "Mandy" Traylor Smith

Amanda "Mandy" Traylor Smith, age 58, of Ashland, Virginia entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 13, 2024, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Mandy was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School, Class of 1984, and was employed by Capital One for 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence L. and Erma H. Traylor. Mandy is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Dennis W. Smith, Sr., children Dennis W. Smith, Jr. (Danielle Tresco), Cody L. Smith and his wife Nikki, Taylor N. Smith and her fiancé Skyler Nino, and cherished granddaughter, Arya M. Smith, who lovingly called her "Nana". She is also survived by her brother Clarence L. “Junie" Traylor and his wife Robin and sister Patsy T. Fowler and her husband Hyland "Buddy" Fowler, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Mandy lived life to the fullest, she had a beautiful heart full of love for the Lord and her family and was loved in return by so many. We are Blessed to have loved her and to have been loved by her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mandy's visitation on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 2-4 PM and

6-8 PM at Nelsen Funeral Home Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the SPCA.
