Carol Ann Blunt, 52, of Elmont, passed away on July 6, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Alvin and Ella Seay. She worked at Bundle of Joy Child Care as Director for over 20 years. Carol is survived by her husband, H.T. Blunt; son, Ryan Blunt (Molly); daughter, Ashton Blunt; five and a half grandchildren; brothers, Roy Seay (Lori) and Alvin Seay. The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Highway, Ashland, VA 23005 from 2:00-3:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Sunday following visitation at 3:30 pm at Kenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family requests that you attend in casual clothing.
