CONWELL, Claudine M., 78, of Ashland, earned her wings with her daughters-in-law by her side on October 9, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Conwell. She is survived by her sons, Jerry Conwell (Lois), Barry Conwell (Patricia), and Darrell Conwell; grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, and Amanda; great-grandchildren, Jamil, Lynsie, Caydence, and Delaney; and brother, Denzil; and many nieces and nephews. Claudine was an accountant for the ABC Board and also worked for Conwell’s Auto Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where services will take place at 2pm on Thursday, October 13, 2016. Interment will be at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, VA. A reception will follow after the burial Chapel Church of Christ, 16263 Woodman Hall Road, Montpelier, VA 23192.
