

Fannie is survived by two sons, Charles P. Stout, Jr. (Louise), Gordon F. Stout (Gayla), five grandchildren, Amy Stout, Charles Stout (Laura), Stacy Barnett (Brian), Holly Stout, Chad Hollins (Chelsea), four great-grandchildren, Madison Barnett, Savannah Barnett, MaKayla Hollins and Rosalie Hollins.
Fannie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She deeply loved and supported her family and was always so proud their accomplishments. She will fondly be remembered as the rock of the entire family, always leading by example, with every aspect of her life.
Fannie was a charter member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she and her husband devoted their lives to serving their Lord and their community.
She spent many years working as the cafeteria manager at Luther Memorial School before retiring. She was an avid gardener, a talented artist and she and her husband, spent their golden years traveling to many art festivals, to display the crafts they created together, which allowed them the opportunity to make so many friends along the way. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 23, 2023 from 9:30am to 10:00am, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA 23005, where a celebration of the incredible life she lived will begin at 10:00am. This will be followed by a burial at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Road.
There will be a short reception immediately following the graveside service at Trinity Lutheran Church, (Ashland Campus) located at 11515 Ashcake Road, Ashland, VA 23005.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Music Ministry and can be sent to Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 North Parham Road, Henrico, VA 23229
