

She was born on July 21, 1929, in Barron, Wisconsin to Ellen Raven Krahenbuhl and Glen Krahenbuhl. She and her 4 brothers grew up in a loving home on the family farm in Wisconsin.
Glenore served as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1949-1952. She was also the first female firefighter in Hanover County. She devoted her time as a volunteer to the Beaverdam Fire Department and the Beaverdam United Methodist Youth Group as a leader and mentor. An avid reader, gardener and travel enthusiast, her gentle soul will leave a lasting impact on all those that she touched.
She is survived by her brother David and Donna Krahenbuhl of New Mexico, Jock and Debbie Fuqua, Terry Fuqua, Joshua Fuqua, (Gracie and Julia Fuqua) Amber and Chris Stigall, (Jaxson, Dalton and Riley Hawkins, Reece and Brettley Stigall) all of Beaverdam, Virginia. She was predeceased by her husband, John Fuqua (1927-2004), her parents, Glen and Ellen Krahenbuhl, brothers, Robert Krahenbuhl, Richard Krahenbuhl, Jack Krahenbuhl all of Wisconsin.
A memorial service will be held at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Virginia on Wednesday January 29th at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beaverdam United Methodist Church Youth Group.
