She was pre-deceased by her husband, Rom Crisp, to whom she was married for almost 50 years. Lois is survived by her two siblings, Cecil Layell and Robert Layell. She was pre-deceased by five siblings, Evelyn Konwerski, Annie Mae Coats, Willard Layell, Earl Layell, and Thomas Layell.
Lois was employed by several printing companies in the Richmond Area, retiring from the industry after 60 years of employment.
Lois enjoyed life to the fullest. An active member of Riverside Baptist Church (Beaverdam, VA), she loved the Lord with all her heart, demonstrating that love by helping so many others along her life’s journey. She leaves behind several family members and friends; she will be greatly missed.
There will be a grave side service at 2:00pm on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Elon Baptist Church,14031 Verdon Rd., Ruther Glen, VA 22546.
