Steve Nolan Lloyd

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olive and John Lloyd, Jr., and son, T.J. Lloyd.

Steve served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era and worked as a general contractor for over 50 years. He was a long-time member of County Line Baptist Church where he volunteered his time and skills to many mission projects. In his spare time, Steve enjoyed woodworking and spending quality time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 57 years, Margaret C. Lloyd; son, Scott Lloyd (Debbie); daughter, Tina Lloyd; grandchildren, Will, Morgan, Kristin, Nathan, Nolan; brothers, Jerry Lloyd (Gina), John William Lloyd (Doris); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Affinity Hospice for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, September 8, at Nelsen Funeral Home - Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. 23005. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 9, at County Line Baptist Church, 3461 Ladysmith Rd., Ruther Glen, Va. 22546, with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
