OBITUARY
Steven Oliver Norris
15 November, 1965 – 27 December, 2018
IN THE CARE OF
Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory - Reid Chapel
ALL who knew Steven Norris are invited to a catered picnic lunch (3:30) at the Norris home (15188, Indian Springs Lane). The picnic will immediately follow the 2:00 memorial service for Steven at SPUMC. Those who plan to attend either event are encouraged to dress casually.
Food and drinks will be provided at the picnic. A picnic blanket or something to sit on is all you might need. There will be a few tables provided.
There is an INDIAN TRAIL TREE on the Norris property, and transportation will be provided for anyone who might wish to see it. You can learn about them by searching Google (“Indian Trail Tree”).
We have also invited members of our community, and their children, to share in what is hoped to be a celebration of the good times Steven and his Mother enjoyed on “The 18 Acres”...before God called them to a much better HOME.
It would be helpful if those who can would carpool to the picnic from the church or from the Montpelier Post Office lot (Post Office will be closed after 11:00) as parking will be limited.
(In the event of rain, the food and drinks will be served in the SPUMC social hall at 3:30.)(RSVPs would be helpful – you can call Connie at #804-678-8721).
