Violet W. West

WEST, Violet W., 89, of Glen Allen, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Allen West, Sr., and her son, Raymond Allen West, Jr. In her free time, Violet enjoyed gardening, Bingo, activities with the VFW and Moose Lodge, and attended Biltmore Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory are her grandson, Benjamin Caleb West; daughter-in-law, Sandra G. West; sister-in-law, Frances Byers; nieces, Betty Lou, Jeanie, Donna, and Tami; and many more friends and extended family. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 4210 Penick Rd., Richmond, Va. 23228, with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
