LIPSCOMB, Willie McNeil, 96, of Hanover, passed away on September 17, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. Lipscomb, Sr. and son, Stanley “Jack” Lipscomb, Jr. Willie was a member of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. She was born in Arkansas, raised in Mississippi. Willie was 1 of 14 children and loved to travel. She is survived by her children, Ginger DeFoe (Fred), Thomas “Tom” Lipscomb (Patricia); daughter-in-law, Eunice Lipscomb; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Reid Chapel, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, VA, where a service will be held at 11am on Monday, September 21, 2015. Interment will be held at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery, Beaverdam, VA.
