Blayne Leaver

Blayne, born May 18, 1965, went to school in Assiniboia but part way through high school he decided to forge his own path. He worked at a few jobs around town then decided to make a new home for himself in Edmonton, a place that he called home for 39 years. He was married to Barb Poholka in 1998 and in typical Blayne fashion they were married on a riverboat in Edmonton! After their parting, they remained friends. Blayne was an eccentric kind of fellow. Much like Dad he preferred things just so, everything had to have a place and look out if something was out of place.

Blayne is survived by his two sisters Wanda and Brenda and his brother Darren, and their families.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 1:00pm at Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK where he will be laid to rest with his younger brother Gary and his parents Wayne and Juliette.
