Darlene Hubert

Darlene Hubert of Oxbow, Saskatchewan, passed away on August 3rd, 2026, in Okotoks, Alberta at the age of 54.

Darlene was born on October 10th, 1971, in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, and grew up close by in the hamlet of Lisieux, Saskatchewan. She went to school in Rockglen along with her sister Marlene and brother John. Growing up, she enjoyed helping her father on the farm, and spending time with her siblings and friends. Upon leaving school, Darlene had her first child and moved to Coronach, Saskatchewan, where she worked and raised her family for many years.

While her 3 kids were all in school, she worked various jobs before finding her passion in helping people. She worked tirelessly towards earning her diploma as a Primary Care Paramedic, where she served the town of Coronach and surrounding area with great pride for several years.

In 2009, Darlene moved to Oxbow, Saskatchewan with her spouse William Campbell, where she continued to reside until her passing.

She will be remembered for her generous heart, compassion for others, witty sense of humor, determination, and willingness to lend a hand whenever anyone needed it. Darlene’s pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, had a passion for cooking and serving others, and loved music.

Darlene is survived by her spouse William Campbell, her three daughters Chantelle Rousseau (Don Wilson), Keely and Lesley Rousseau, her grandchildren Vincent and Anthony Wilson, sister Marlene McNaughton (Dave); her brother John Hubert (Coralee); Mother Shirley Hubert; and former husband Clayton Rousseau, whom she shares her 3 children with, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

She is predeceased by her father John Hubert; Grandfather Ted Hubert; Grandmother Rose Hubert; Grandmother Edna Wolfe; Grandfather Alfred Wolfe; and Uncle George Hubert.

In Darlene’s honour, a private celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 10th, 2026, in Rockglen, where family and friends are welcome to attend and share memories.

Donations in memory of Darlene may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) and Canadian Association for Suicide Prevention (CASP).
