Debra Ann Hendricks

Debra (Debbie) Ann Hendricks (Amell), age 52, of Assiniboia, Sask., passed away surrounded by family in her home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from progressive Stage 4 Cervical Cancer. Debbie was born eldest child December 1, 1963 to Allan Amell (deceased) and Ruth Amell in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She attended school at Fort Richmond Collegiate in Winnipeg. Debbie later on found love and got married to Dean Hendricks in Coronach, Sask. Together they had four beautiful children. Debbie loved the family life, her children and her nine grandbabes, as she called them, were her world. Debbie would do anything and everything she could for them and she did. She lived and loved to take care, and give everything she could for her ``Blood``, as she always use to call the people she loved most in this world. Debbie always made sure that when you walked through the front door that you were always fed and watered before leaving. She lived to make sure everyone in her life was always taken care of no matter what. Debbie got her wish, and that was to be at home her final days surrounded by the ones she loved most. Debbie is predeceased by her grandson Quaid Hendricks and her father Allan Amell, she is survived by her four children Chad Hendricks, Dusty Hendricks, Andrew Hendricks, and Amanda Stenerson, her Grandbabes: Tegan Hendricks, Drew Stenerson, Ryder Hendricks, Gage Hendricks, Damon Hendricks, Daytona Stenerson, Dalten Stenerson, and Hunter Hendricks, also by her mother Ruth Amell, brother Don Amell, sister Diane Clark, nieces and nephews James Amell, Neely Amell, Kate Clark, and Kaleb Clark. Our Family would like to Sincerely thank all the Health Care Professionals of Assiniboia Union Hospital, the friends, family and community of Coronach for all their help in making Debbie`s day of Remembrance special. Also a special Thank You to Gay Wilderman of ``Flower Therapy By Gay`` for donating all the beautiful flowers and casket spray. Funeral Service was held Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Coronach United Church, Coronach, Sask. Reverend Marilyn Leuty officiated. Tributes delivered by Diane, Gay, Debra Ann. Pallbearers were: Chad Hendricks, Dustin Hendricks, Andrew Hendricks, Rick Woods, Garry Woods, and James Amell. Interment followed at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Coronach, Sask. Donations in Memory of Debra may be made to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.
