Delvina passed away peacefully in Regina on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at the age of 101 years. She is survived by her brother Georges Bourgeois; her loving children, Cécile (Gary Wyatt), Armand (Marilyn), Denis (Ann) and Luc (Freddy Vazquez); cherished grandchildren, Jean-Paul (Krista), Christian (Randeana), Colinne (Peter Taylor), Andi Céline (Cullen Stewart) and Joel; as well as great-grandchildren, Maëlle, Thibault, Beatrice, Marlo, Sylvia, Kelsey, Yôji and Céline; and many nephews and nieces. Delvina was predeceased by her beloved husband of 67 years, Rosario; grandson, Christopher Nicurati; parents, Joseph and Virginie (Lafrenière); siblings, Jeanne, Anita and Claude; as well as her sisters and brothers-in-law. Delvina and Rosario farmed and raised their family in Willow Bunch, SK. A proud Fransaskoise, she volunteered with various local and provincial francophone organisations. For several decades, she worked for and volunteered with the Willow Bunch Museum. An avid and wonderful gardener, she loved to preserve vegetables and make jams and jellies from the fruit gathered by her and Rosario in the coulees around Willow Bunch. Delvina lived a very long and full life and will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives she touched. A funeral service and burial will be held in Willow Bunch at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honour to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice.
