With great sadness the family of Donnie Drake announced his passing February 29, 2024 at age 62. He was predeceased by parents, Donald and Marjorie, in-laws John and Louise Brown, brother Dennis and infant sister Dana Lynn. Donnie will be forever missed by his wife of forty-four years, Darla; two children and three grandchildren: Amanda and son Maguire, Christopher (Johanna) and children Carson and Kennedy; sister Debbie Beddow; in-laws: Marcia (Richard) Carlson, Barb (Alfred) Pierce, Jack (Margaret) Brown, Greg (Marilyn) Brown, Darnel (Charlene) Brown, Brenda (Colin) Giblett, Betty (Greg) Welch, Garth (Jackie) Brown, Ben Beddow, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Funeral service was held Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Sports-Plex, Coronach, SK with Linda Kirby officiating. Tributes were presented by Amanda, Joh, Brittany Travland-Hicks and there was an open mic for anyone who wanted to share. Interment at a later date in Big Beaver Cemetery. Pallbearers, brothers-in-law: Jack Brown, Greg Brown, Garth Brown, Greg Welch, Colin Giblett, Richard Carlson, Ben Beddow and Alfred Pierce. Donations may be made to the Big Beaver Community Hall or Coronach Sports-Plex in Memory of Donnie.
