I am deeply saddened by the passing of Auntie Eunice.  It seems like only a few short years ago that the Kanten family would head off on one of many day trips to see Auntie Eunice, Uncle Roy, Connie, Cory and Gloria where many great days were spent at the Bjornson farm visiting.  Auntie Eunice would always make a great meal and make everyone feel right at home.  
When my mom passed away a few months before my wedding, Auntie Eunice and Auntie Ruby pitched in any way they could - without being asked - which was so appreciated. 
She was a gentle spirit with a loving and caring nature that will not be forgotten. 
Uncle Roy, Connie, Cory, Gloria and families: please know that our love and condolences are with you and you are in our thoughts and prayers.

It is with great sadness that I say good bye to Auntie Eunice. I still remember, like it was yesterday, all the weekend trips to the farm to visit with Uncle Roy, Aunt Eunice, Connie, Cory and Gloria. It is probably some of the best childhood memories I have, all the family dinners ( Aunt Eunice was a great cook) and celbrations. A couple of years ago some members of our family stopped into visit her and Uncle Roy, while on a trip out to see the old Kanten farm, we weren't there 5 minutes and Aunt Eunice was pulling baking out of the deep freeze and making coffee. She always had the best baking! It was always a pleasure to visit with them, Aunt Eunice was showing us some of her newest crafts, she was very talented with her hands and I know she spent alot of time doing these crafts with Aunt Ruby, who was probably more like a "Best Friend" than a sister to her. She will be dearly missed, as she holds a very special place in my heart! Hugs to you all!
