

Florence was born January 22, 1929 at the Merritt farm in Pangman, SK and lived her entire life in the Big Muddy.
She is survived by her four children: Carol (Dave) Dallaire, Bonnie Galbraith (Don Eley), Rickie Galbraith and Curtis Galbraith; four grandchildren: Lindsey (Dan) Chamberlain and Michael (Jessi) Dallaire, Danielle Galbraith (Brady Olson) and Morgan Galbraith; two step-grandchildren Pamela (Kevin) Heagy and Melissa McEwen-Weir (Ron Weir); two great grandchildren: Ayla Chamberlain and Sophia Galbraith-Olson and six step-great grandchildren: Hunter, Amelia, Emmett and William Heagy and George and Alexander Weir. Florence is also survived by her sisters Beatrice (Odin) Jacobson and Sheila Thue, sister-in-law Ingrid Morrison and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Florence is predeceased by her husband Donald, infant son Wesley, her parents John and Muriel (Marshall) Morrison, brothers Tommy and Joe Morrison and many other relatives,
Florence spent her life farming and ranching. She was active in the communities where she lived, sitting as a member of the United Church Board, working on various History Books, involved with Big Muddy Tours, the Deep South Care Home Board and many other organizations.
She had a passion for horses. Playing music and singing always brought her great joy. Over the past few years, she became a master of word-find puzzles, and an enthusiastic viewer of curling and baseball games. She will be missed by all who knew her.
A private Family Graveside Service was held at the Big Beaver Union Cemetery on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Reverend Isabella Frank officiated. Pallbearers were: Michael Dallaire, Dan Chamberlain, Olanda Jacobson, Kevin Heagy, Hunter Heagy, Larry Morrison and Randy Morrison. Fellowship followed at the Ogema Museum Hall. Tributes presented by Dave Dallaire, Michael Dallaire and Lindsey Chamberlain. Donations may be made to the Big Beaver United Church Restoration Fund or a charity of your choice.
