Harvey Alfred Sand

Harvey was born on January 29, 1940, in Limerick, Saskatchewan, to John and Sophy Sand. He lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, friends, neighbours, and community. Harvey was deeply devoted to his family, friends, and neighbours, who will remember him for his kindness, warmth, and generous spirit.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Bernice Beamish; his sister-in-law, Dolores; and by members of his wife Patricia’s family: Kathleen and Edward Fiedt, Art Siebenaler, Cletus Rotty, and Melvin Illa.

Harvey will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 56 years, Patricia; his children, Amy (Tals), John (Lianne), Evan (Sherri), Ted (Sarah), and Tom; his brothers, Lee and Don (Fran); as well as his nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by Patricia’s living family members: Edna Siebenaler, Phyllis Rotty, and Jane Illa, who share fond memories of visiting the farm and will miss him dearly.

A private funeral service will be held at Ross Funeral Chapel in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan, with Les Wilcock presiding. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ross Funeral Service.
