Helen Thurlow

The angels grew by one. Our beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother, Helen Kay Thurlow (nee Ellert) lost her battle with cancer August 4, 2025. She’s free to join her son Justin, parents Peter and Helen Ellert, father-in-law Lloyd Thurlow, brother-in-law Trevor Magee, and nephews Chris Ellert and Dorian Ellert.

Helen is survived by her husband Brent Thurlow, son Travis (Emily Evans) and granddaughter Georgia. Siblings Murray (Suzanne), Doreen (Trevor), John (Mel), Ken (Cindy), Laura (Steve), Roy (Donna), Tony and Annette and families. Mother-in-law Sylvia Thurlow, Corey, Myrna (Guy), Natasha, Michael, Christopher and families.

A private family service to celebrate Helen will be held in the Ross Funeral Chapel, Assiniboia, SK. Interment at Mount Hope Cemetery, Assiniboia, SK
