Henri Henry Julien Cote

Henry Julien Côté of Scout Lake, SK passed away, following his battle with cancer, on January 12, 2011 in the Assiniboia Union Hospital with family by his side.

Henry was born April 23, 1935 on the family farm, near Scout Lake, SK.

Henry was an avid farmer, hunter, fisherman, horseman and gardener. He particularly enjoyed his time with his family especially with his grandchildren and recently his great-grandson. He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.

Predeceased by grandson, Dallyn (1993), his parents, Léo (1970), Alice (Fafard) (1989), brother Gilbert (1993), sister Louise Bergeron (2008), brother Robert (2008), and brother-in-law Philip Petrie (1995).

Henry is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Sylvia (Beausoleil); five children: Colette (Dennis Kilburn), Jocelyn Roy, Mark (Penny), David (Leann), and Patrick (Patty); grandchildren: Tana (Dustin) Auseth, Trina (Justin), A.J., Wacey, Levi, Wyman, Josh, Layne and Lexi and one great-grandson Chase Auseth. Henry is also survived by sisters Jeanne Casteel, Florence (John) Delorme, and Vivian Petrie; brother Jim (Margaret) Cote, sister-in-law Fern Delorme, brother-in-law Del Bergeron, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
