Mr. J. Harvey Dufour

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Harvey Dufour on Oct. 19, 2010. Our father passed away at the Galloway Health Center in Oxbow, Sk, at the age of 80 years. He is survived by Winnie Fuchs and his seven children: Leta (Cecil) Steffensen, Bonnie (Vlado) Purgar, Lana (Alvin) Evans, Michele (Lowy) Vanderploeg, Jay (Brenda) Dufour, Leon (Leanne) Dufour, and Cody (Jackie) Dufour. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, also numerous nieces and nephews. Dad was predeceased by his father Francis Charles Dufour and his mother Clara Dufour, nee Pelletier, his son Rene Dufour; brothers Michael Dufour and Charles Dufour and sisters Helene Mayes and Betty Lawson. We would like to thank the staff at the Regina Pasqua Hospital and those at the Galloway Health Center for their kind and compassionate care of our father. The family would also like to thank Dr. M. Ene, Dr. V. Torri of Regina, Dr. N. Botha, Dr. D. Hyman of Oxbow.

FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 2:00 in Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 East Victoria Ave., Regina, SK. Neil Gilbert officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations in Memory of Harvey can be made to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, 4101 Dewdney Ave., Regina, SK
