Suddenly on April 2, 2016 Jarret William Irvin died accidentally surrounded by friends at Viceroy, Saskatchewan. Jarret was born on August 16, 1978 in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. He leaves to mourn his loving parents, Barb and Randy, sisters Kerri (Doug), (Kaleb and Ethan); and Jackie (Jesse, Jordan, Jas and Josey) and many aunts, uncles and cousins and his furry four legged friend Tak. Jarret also leaves to cherish his memory a very special friend, Carla Pinfold and many other close friends. He was predeceased by his grandparents Thelma and Mike Stasuik, Jack Irvin and Miriam Freeman and his beloved four legged companion Jesus. Jarret was raised on the family farm at Viceroy and attended school in Viceroy and Bengough. Jarret worked on the Irvin farm from a very young age working alongside his parents in the barn or on the field until he was able to purchase land of his own. He was so helpful and reliable in all aspects of the farm, he could be seen tagging calves by himself or checking the cattle late into the night. Jarret's second career was driving trucks and he was able to fix just about anything. He worked on the rigs and more recently on the pipelines in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Jarret loved motorcycles, always making sure he had one in the garage. He enjoyed riding if he had an opportunity and always talked with pride about his latest bike. He enjoyed a few warm Calgary beer with his many friends either at home or spending long lazy days at Oro Lake sitting around the bonfire sharing about the latest high-wire act and story telling. Jarret was fortunate he never worried about anything and always had a good time. The family would like to thank the participants at the rally who attended the accident scene. A Celebration of Jarret’s Life was held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 2:00 pm in the Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreational Centre, Assiniboia, SK.
