

March 16th, 1956 – January 8th, 2025
Kelvin Thomas Mathew Pritchard was born in Whitewood, Saskatchewan on March 16th, 1956 to Tom and Kay Pritchard. He had three brothers Ken, Glen and Kelly. Kelvin grew up as an elevator agent’s son so they moved from town to town and their final destination was McCord.
Kelvin had many hobbies as a child but a special love for hockey. He played throughout his childhood and also with the Weyburn Red Wings. He also joined the local Mankota Mets team later on in life and the fans claimed that he was such a wonderful skater and had a hard slap shot.
Kelvin married Ruth Rausch July 19th, 1975. They began ranching south of Mankota with Otto Rausch. They raised two children Riley and Sheena. They continued to fill their days with ranch work, family and friends. He also worked at the Mankota Stockman's Weigh Co.
Kelvin was excited to become a grandpa in 2006. He enjoyed spending time with them and teaching them new skills. The mini sticks was a fun game with grandpa and watching him skate around the kids on the dam.
Kelvin was a hard working man but would drop all his work to help out family or friends. He will forever be missed.
Predeceased by parents, Kay and Tom and sister-in-law Lori Pritchard, Kelvin is survived by wife Ruth, two children, Riley & Sharisse and children Deklen, Austin and Celina; Sheena Peterson and children Payson, Shayda and Chase; brothers: Ken (Alice), Glenn (Shannon), Kelly and their families.
