Laurence Rita Dionne Martin

Martin: Laurence Rita (Dionne). (Nov 24, 1926 – Mar 1, 2015) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Laurence Martin. Mom was predeceased by our Dad, Romeo Martin on March 7, 2002. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Bernadette (Richard Chevrier), sons Bernard (Lise), Gerald (Joanne), Raymond (Cheryl) and Daniel (Diana). Grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Leanne (Trevor Beatty, Kelli & Kris), Daniel Chevrier (Tammy, Austin & Kaitlyn) Michael Martin (Mel, Kirah & Julianna), Marc Martin (Mel & Jase), Jenna & Jesse Martin, Kelsey Martin (Erin & Kaylan), Carter Martin, Jamie (Colin Cairney & Hayden) and Josh Martin. Mom was a wonderful homemaker and a fabulous cook. Mom struggled with health issues and lived in Moose Jaw personal care homes for a while. She then relocated to Prairie Villa for a short time. As her health continued to deteriorate Mom moved to Ross Payant Nursing Home where her earthly journey ended on March 1, 2015. A Celebration of Mom’s life with Funeral Mass & burial will be held in Willow Bunch on July 25, 2015 at 10:30 am in St. Ignace Roman Catholic Church. Masses may be said or donations in Mom’s memory can be made to: Ladies Auxiliary for Long-term Care Homes.
